More RAM for ComfilePi Panel PCs

COMFILE Technology is excited to announce significant upgrades to our ComfilePi panel PC lineup, designed to meet the evolving needs of modern solutions.

Our latest Bullseye OS will typically consume about 300MB of RAM out-of-the-box. For the default 1GB RAM configuration, this leaves around 700MB available—ample for many applications, particularly those optimized by users with the expertise and time to fine-tune their systems. However, we recognize that sometimes the simplest and most effective solution is just to add more RAM.

Today’s solutions are growing increasingly sophisticated. Many are deployed as web kiosks running resource-intensive browsers or leverage powerful software suites like LabVIEW, Node-RED, and CODESYS, each adding runtime overhead. Factor in demands like video buffering, read-only file systems caching writes in RAM, or AI-driven workloads, and 1GB of RAM can quickly feel constrained.

To address these more demanding workloads, we’re pleased to introduce new memory options for the CPi-S panel PCs: a 4GB RAM Lite (with an SD card) option and a  4GB RAM 32GB eMMC option. For those needing a middle ground, our CPi-C panel PCs come with a default 2GB RAM option.

Variants with up to 8GB of RAM may also be possible, but please inquire at sales@comfiletech.com with your desired quantity (minimum order quantities and additional lead times may apply).
