Introducing the New CFNET Field I/O
We are pleased to introduce our new CFNET Field I/O product.
This product has been in development for a very long time, and we are excited to finally bring it to market. The original concept behind CFNET began with MODPORT, a PC-based I/O product we released many years ago. MODPORT uses RS-485 and the Modbus protocol, which is still the most common approach used by many third-party field I/O products on the market today.

However, this approach has clear drawbacks. Users must implement the communication protocol themselves, and response speed is inherently limited.
To overcome these limitations, we continued to explore better alternatives. The result is a faster, simpler solution based on USB: CFHEADER and CFNET I/O.

The yellow module on the far left is CFHEADER, the core and mandatory component of the system. It connects to a PC or ComfilePi (Linux-based PC) via USB. Thanks to the USB interface, communication is very fast. More importantly, users do not need to study or implement any communication protocol. By using the library we provide, CFNET can be integrated with simple function calls. We also provide usage examples for developers using C#.

Currently, CFNET I/O is available in five essential module types, including digital input, digital output, and relay output, with more modules planned for future release. As you may have noticed, these I/O modules are also shared with our Modular FADUINO system, allowing them to be used across multiple platforms.
