Description
CUBLOC Lab is a PC-based simulation environment for experimenting with CUBLOC programs. It provides a virtual workspace for learning, practice, and exploring controller behavior without connecting a physical CUBLOC module.
AVR Emulation at Its Core
CUBLOC Lab emulates the AVR microcontroller used in CUBLOC, allowing its firmware machine code to execute in a software environment. This approach reproduces controller behavior at the microcontroller level, rather than simply interpreting the program’s intended actions.
A Virtual Workspace for Learning
Explore how a controller responds to inputs and how program execution affects its outputs. The virtual environment makes it convenient to repeat experiments and investigate program behavior on a PC.
Designed for Experiments and Education
CUBLOC Lab is intended for experimentation, practice, and education. It does not reproduce every hardware feature or electrical characteristic of a physical CUBLOC system.
Simulation results should therefore be verified on the actual hardware before a program is used in an operating machine or control system.
