Q: What’s the difference between using CUBLOC and using a standard MCU?

A: Using a bare MCU means you are responsible for everything from the ground up. You need to design, implement, and validate all the fundamentals yourself—task scheduling, timing, communication handling, reliability, and long-term stability. In other words, you must prove that you can build a complete and robust system on your own.

CUBLOC takes a very different approach. It comes with a mature, RTOS-class operating framework, along with an integrated BASIC interpreter and ladder logic interpreter, all developed in-house and tightly integrated.

This software stack has been refined over more than 20 years and is now extremely stable—there is very little left to fix. On the outside, an MCU and a CUBLOC module may look similar. The real difference is what’s inside.
