Description
Add Industrial Power to any Windows or Linux PC (Worksation PC, Panel PC, Box PC, SBC, etc.)
Most PCs do not include digital or analog I/O ports, which makes them difficult to use directly in industrial environments. CFNET provides a complete solution for PC-based applications that require external I/O. Upgrade your PC and make it ready for use on the factory floor.
All that's required is a modern operating system (Windows or Linux) and host USB ports.
- Use C# or VB.NET with the latest versions of Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code to automate the IO modules.
- Develop and debug on your Intel Windows PC and deploy to your ARM Linux panel PC without changing any code.
- On Linux, automate IO modules by simply reading and writing files. Use any programming language (Python, C, Java, Javascript, Rust, Bash) or tool (Codesys, Node-RED, etc.) with the ability to do file I/O.
CFHAR-8U connects to a PC via USB and can be used with a wide range of I/O modules.
- Supports digital input, digital output, and relay output modules
- Supports analog input and analog output modules
- DIN-rail mountable
CFHDR-8U is equipped with two USB ports. Only one port should be used at a time. One is a standard USB Type-B jack, which can be connected to a PC using a common USB A-to-B cable. The other is a Molex 4-pin connector designed to prevent accidental disconnection. This option is recommended for installations in industrial environments where stable operation is critical. The Molex-type USB cable is sold separately.
